Bartender’s Weekend San Diego
Tiki Disco, dancing, Misguided cocktails and so many new friends! Bartender’s Weekend 2023 in sunny San Diego, CA!
What began 10 years ago as a humble gathering of local bartenders every spring at the Lafayette Hotel pool, has morphed into SoCal’s largest, industry only, networking event aimed at promoting the “spirit of hospitality”. The trade focused, San Diego based event takes place in March each year on a Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to reflect the typical days off, or “Weekend”, observed by most members of the service industry.
Misguided Spirits had the absolute pleasure of hosting our California industry friends for our closing party of Bartender’s weekend at Camino Riviera in San Diego’s Little Italy. We brought a little slice of New York nightlife to sunny SoCal with the legendary DJ group hailing from Brooklyn, Tiki Disco, featuring Eli Escobar, Lloyd Harris, and Andy Pry Ortega.
With the help of our friends at The Pathfinder and Scrappy’s Bitters we brought in stellar bartenders from some of our favorite bars to create one of a kind Misguided cocktails to keep everyone dancing all night long. Special thanks to Katelyn Munn of Cote NYC, Lea Logan of Belle Reve NYC, Bruce Shultz of Amor y Amargo NYC, and Naomi Shimeck of Soulmate WeHo.
